ラジコンジェットフォイル セブンアイランド “友”誕生

今秋、私の累計９隻目のラジコンジェットフォイルが誕生した。

　今年四月から東京〜伊豆７島船に就航した東海汽船の
４隻目の　ジェット船　”セブンアイランド　友　である。



　すでに同じジェット船の”虹”は過去に製作し、保有しているので
ジェット船では２隻目である。

　この　“友”はそのカラーリングに特徴がある。
デザインはかの東海汽船の名誉船長である”柳原良平氏”が担当。
　その、船離れしたエメラルドグリーンでカラフルな、、７０年代に流行した
”サイケデリック調の絵画”や”岡本太郎の作品”を思わせるカラーリング
が製作意欲を刺激した。
そうそう！。　７０年代の米国航空機会社の”ブラニフ”のグラフィックパターンも連想してくる。
　当時、彫刻家カルダーがデザインしたB７２７機の塗装は、エヤライン航空機のカラーリングでは衝撃的な登場であった。

このカラーリングで、、、これからのデザインの可能性を大きく広げた効果は絶大であった。

　柳原良平氏の説明ではデザインのモチーフはサイケデリックを狙ったのでは無く、パターンは
人が両手を広げて、互いにつないでいることのようだ。
まさに友達を表現している。
　それを模型の塗装パターンで再現するのは大変だった。
人型は大きさと色が全て違うので、人型マスキングを場所ごと、色ごとに変えて
おこない、エヤーブラシで塗装を繰り替えすことその回数８０数回、、、、、、
　気が遠くなるような、、、根気作業の連続だった。
川崎JPS社での本物の塗装も大変だったと思う！！。

Coloring which makes colorful "pictures of a psychedelic tone" which were in fashion in the 70s and "Taro Okamoto's work" consider in the emerald green which carried out aversion to a ship stimulated manufacture volition.
By Mr. Ryohei Yanagihara's explanation, if Psychedelic was aimed at, there is nothing, and the motif of a design is a pattern.
It seems that it is that people extended both hands and have tied mutually.
The friend is just expressed.
It was serious to have reproduced it by the paint pattern of a model.
Since the person type differed in all of a size and a color, person type masking was changed for every place and every color, and it performed it, and wound paint with the Air brush, and the about eighty number of times of substitute　was mind-boggling continuation of perseverance work.
I also regard paint of the genuine article in Kawasaki JPS as serious!! .
