この秋にラジコンＪｅｔＦｏｉｌをヨーロッパに輸送した。
Radio controller JetFoil was transported to Europe in this autumn.
５月に私のＹｏｕＴｕｂｅの動画を見て、アイルランドのＭＲ．Ｒ氏から製作の依頼
があり、およそ３ヶ月の製作期間を得て完成させ、アイルランドに空輸した。
The animation of my YouTube was seen, production was requested from Mr.
MR.R in Ireland, the production period of about three months was
obtained, it completed, and it airlifted it to Ireland.
ＭＲ．Ｒ氏からはホンコンで活躍しているTurboJET社の(噴射飛航)塗装で指定があった。
It was an active TurboJET Co.'s (jet To) in Hong Kong from Mr. MR.R painting
and there was specification.
ホンコンターボｼﾞｪｯﾄ社といえば世界で最大のＪＥＴＦＯＩＬ運航会社で１３隻を運用している
会社である。そのほとんどがボーイング社の製作した初期型である点もめずらしい。
ホンコンマカオの間を高速で運行していて、ホンコンに行ったことのある読者なら
乗ったことがあると思う。
下はエメラルド色のホンコンＳＥＡを疾走するＪＥＴＦＯＩＬ．
ＭＲ，Ｒ氏もホンコンに旅行した際に乗った感激が忘れられずにその塗装を指定してきたに違い
ない。
私のｼﾞｪｯﾄフォイルは性能的にも世界のマニアが注目していて、性能上まだ公開できないところがある。
私に問い合わせがきたこれまでの例から世界で５，６人のラジコンマニアがトライしているが、、未だに
成功していない。The mania in the world is paying attention in the performance, and my jetfoil cannot open on
the performance to the public.
It doesn't succeed yet though 5 or 6 radio controller manias are trying from a current example
of inquire coming to me in the world.
そんなブラックボックス技術ではあるが、、、世界で私の模型技術に感激してくれる人がいることは
大変うれしいのでその熱意に答え、製作することにした。
船体の製作では３ＤＣＡＤなども使い、今後の製作にもノウハウとデータを蓄積した。
Because I am very glad, the zeal decided to be answered, and to
produce the person deeply moved by my model technology in the world.

と複製量産型の”Cacilhas”

２隻めのｼﾞｪｯﾄフォイルとなると、何かと初代の欠点が改良されて外観のできばえ、性能面でも
格段に良くなった。ウオーターｼﾞｪｯﾄポンプの噴射性能も動力系統の見直しでﾊﾟﾜｰアップでき
容易に浮上できることになった。Founder's fault is variously improved as for the second jetfoil and it has improved

自分の作ったラジコンモデルを海外に輸送するのはもちろんはじめてで、最初は運送会社の
見積り問い合わせ、空輸梱包と不安要素が多くあったが得意のぶっつけ主義で乗り切った。

transporting the radio controller model whom I had made to foreign countries though
there were a lot of estimate inquiries of the carrying company and airlift packing

そして、小破あるも無事海外に作品を届けることに成功した。

foreign countries safely.
海外で自分の製作したラジコン船が無事に動くか多少の不安があった。
案の定、最初のテストランで小石をウオーターｼﾞｪｯﾄポンプが吸い込み、
インペラー破損の重大故障に直面した。The radio controller ship that I produced in foreign countries moved
safely or there was a little uneasiness.
As I thought, the water jet pump inhaled a small stone by the first
test run, and it was confronted with a serious breakdown in the
impeller damage.
すぐに交換インペラーを製作して送った。
The exchange impeller was produced at once and it sent it.
つぎもまた、異物吸入でインペラーの破損の連絡があった。
やはり、海外の池の状態は未知数である。現地から送られてきた、インペラーの破損状況を見ると
細い藻が巻きついていた。細い藻でも高速回転（約１８０００ｒｐｍ回転）しているインペラーに
瞬間的に巻きつくと破損してしまう。
アイルランドの池は富栄養の状態にあるらしい。The pond in Ireland seem to be in the state of the wealth nourishment.
下はＭＲ．Ｒ氏から送ってきたアイルランド現地の池の風景。
そんなこんなで多難あったが、、、、、取水口にステンレスの金網を取り付けて対抗した。
下は急遽製作した取水口のネット：これを現地に送り、取り付けた。この修理作業で
現地のＭｒ．Ｒ氏は私の送った修理作業チャートで見事に心臓部ともいえるｼﾞｪｯﾄポンプ

海外への部品の送付と現地での修理がうまくいく事が立証できた。

report from local Mr. R.
The thing that sending parts to foreign countries and repairs in the locale
go well was able to be proven also with a handmade manufacture of me who was
not general mass-produced goods due to this a series of trouble.
その後は元気に！、アイルランドの池を走り回っているとのことである.
下は現地の池を疾走するＲＣｼﾞｪｯﾄフォイルCacilhas.
Vigour afterwards. ､I hear running about the pond in Ireland.
The under is RC jetfoil Cacilhas that dashes in a local pond.
しかし、インターネットの力も大したものでほぼ地球の裏側の人とも自由に連絡がとれ
模型を通じての交流が深める事が出来るのは大変嬉しいことである。
私の固有趣味技術を海外で広めてくれるMR.R氏に感謝します。
その後、数ヶ月に渡る、MR.R氏の現地でのＲＣ ＪＥＴＦＯＩＬの試験走行も無事終了し、
我がＲＣ ＪＥＴＦＯＩＬ は再び日本の私の手元に戻ってきた。
まさに国際交流を果たしたモデルである。

PS:2008年１０月アメリカの水中翼船協会誌（水中翼学会）に
私の製作したジェットフォイル”Cacilhas”が紹介された。
長年この学会のモデル水中翼船コーナーに投稿したのが評価されて、
エキスパートモデラーとして紹介されている。
モデルマニアの作品がこの様な水中翼学会誌に掲載されるのは光栄の至りである。
今後もモデルテクニックの精進をしていきたい。
